We're delighted to be exclusively partnering with IPRS Group.
IPRS Group is an independent, specialist provider of a wide range of health and wellbeing services to the public and private sectors. Having joined the business in 2004, CEO Martyn Jackson and his talented team have successfully grown the business from a regional provider of physio services to a market leading, multi-disciplinary operation. It has been an impressive two decades of innovation, excellence, and collective achievement to establish the £35m+ Group as an award-winning powerhouse in the healthcare sector.
Originally founded in 1995 by a former professional football physiotherapist as IPRS Heath, the business provided physiotherapy to employees of local organisations within Ipswich and Suffolk. By applying the ethos of “sports injury management” into commercial and corporate settings, IPRS Heath helped employees achieve "return to work" fitness, enhancing productivity and well-being. This innovative approach to high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy helped fuel their impressive growth into corporate and government sectors, and the diversification of the Groups services with the development of repatriation services, medical assessment services, the development of award-winning Mental Health services building on IPRS’s physiotherapy services and its long-term relationship with Biodex around its equipment distribution and servicing.
In 2016, the Group underwent a significant rebrand with the company being split into four separate divisions: IPRS Health, IPRS Aeromed, IPRS Mediquipe and PFAS, with each delivering unique healthcare services. Each company has seen significant growth since then in part testament to market-leading product innovation, such as being the first UK physiotherapy provider to launch Virtual Physiotherapy and progressive use of Digital and smart phone solutions across its mental health services.
In April 2022, IPRS Group was acquired by Lancashire-based investment portfolio management company handl Group who were looking to build their market presence in the health and wellbeing sector, and which has provided IPRS Group the investment to continue their sustainable growth journey.
Martyn says, “IPRS Group continues to be a great place to work, any service business is first and foremost about its people and culture, we have had several successes and failures over the years, however everything is considered a learning experience as we move forward. In 2022 we become part of the handl Group, and we are seeing fantastic support and encouragement from the handl board, as they work with the team to make sure we grow and prosper and above all, provide innovative services to our diverse client base”.
